Avatar merupakan salah satu proyek movie yang paling muktahir saat ini di dalam sejarah multimedia. Perusahaan besar seperti Weta Digital atau ILM telah menyebutkan kalau pembuatannya melibatkan 10 perusahaan besar dan ribuan digital artist,3d modelers, animators dan compositors yang membawa sebuah script menjadi nyata. Menurut bocoran inilah perusahaan2 yang terlibat di dalamnya

Untuk pembuatannya sendiri menggunakan sebuah alat yang digunakan utk motion capture dengan menitik2an badan dari aktor nya, kemudian dengan software dibuat lah muka 3D nya. Berikut gbr2 pembuatannya

Dari pembuatan ini sih, saya berharap Indonesia ke depannya bs mengembangkan film multimedia seperti ini dan berkualitas. Jgn seperti sinetron2 sekarang yg bisa dikatakan masi payah.
